Five public uprising forces killed in eastern province of Afghanistan

Eight members of public uprising forces were killed and injured by the Taliban in eastern Nangarhar Province.
Taliban attacked a checkpoint of these forces in Khogyani district last night, in which five people were killed and three others were wounded, a security source said.
The Taliban also suffered casualties in the clash, the sources said, but it did not provide exact details about casualties.
The Taliban have not yet commented on the report.
