Security officials in northern Faryab Province say that four members of a family were killed after a mortar hit their residential house in Belcheragh district.

Five others got injured in the incident, according to local security officials.

Provincial Police Spokesman Karim Yurish says the mortar fired by the Taliban landed on a residential house, but the Taliban have so far not commented on the report.
