Four security forces were killed in a Taliban attack on a security checkpoint in northeastern Kunduz.

Taliban attacked a security checkpoint in the fifth district of Kunduz last night, killing four security personnel and capturing three others, security officials said.

Sources say the Taliban also suffered casualties in the clashes, but did not provide exact figures.

Local and security officials have not yet commented on the report.
