Germany is prepared to host the next round of intra-Afghan talks.

Germany’s Special Envoy for Afghanistan and Pakistan Markus Potzel in a meeting Chairman of the High Council for National Reconciliation of Afghanistan Abdullah Abdullah on the sideline of the opening ceremony of intra-Afghan talks in Doha, said that the beginning of peace talks is a major development and a historic event.

He added that if the negotiating parties agree his country is ready to host the next round of intra-Afghan negotiations.

In the meantime, describing the intra-Afghan talks a great and a historic achievement, Norwegian special envoy for Afghanistan, Per Albert Ilsaas, said his country is ready to host the intra-Afghan negotiations.
