Afghan President Mohammad Ashraf and National Security Adviser Hamdullah Mohib in a meeting with NATO’s Civilian Representative for Afghanistan Stefano Pontecorvo discussed the ongoing peace process.

In addition to peace, the three sides discussed the strengthening and equipment of security forces and NATO’s support for the government’s plans, the Presidential Palace said in a statement.

NATO’s civilian envoy assured that members of the organization are committed to resume their support for the Afghan security and defense forces.
