Afghanistan’s Intelligence Agency arrested a group of six armed thieves in western Herat Province, the National Directorate of Security (NDS) reported.

According to the NDS, the thieves were arrested by special unit of the intelligence agency and are accused of robbing the Islamic Bank of Afghanistan, Herat branch.

Some of the detainees have pleaded guilty in preliminary investigations, the NDS further added.
