Gunmen have opened fire on a vehicle of intelligence officials in Kabul on Monday, killing two and wounding three others.

Interior Ministry Spokesman Nusrat Rahimi says the attack took place on Monday morning in Pul-e-Charkhi area of Kabul’s ninth precinct.

Police has launched a search operation to arrest the assailants, said Rahimi.

No group has so far claimed responsibility for the attack.
