An explosion hit Kabul’s 6th security precinct on Wednesday morning, according to reports.

Confirming the incident, the interior ministry of Afghanistan announced that the blast occurred at 9 local time in West Kabul.

According to initial reports, at least 80 people have got injured in the incident as the number of people died in the attack is still unclear.

In the meantime, a number of eyewitnesses say that the explosion was followed by sporadic shootings.

No group has claimed responsibility for the explosion so far.
