A delegation of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan (IEA) led by acting foreign minister, Amir Khan Muttaqi, is scheduled to travel to Norway.

Deputy spokesman for the IEA, Inamullah Samangani, said the delegation would discuss various issues with Norwegian officials, the US delegation, representatives of the European Union and a number of Afghans.

The Norwegian foreign ministry announced Friday that the country would host a meeting on the current situation in Afghanistan on January 23-25.

Some experts describe such meetings important and valuable for Afghanistan to get rid of the current crisis.
