Authorities of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, IEA, insist on conducting the Mes Aynak (copper mine) in Logar Province.

Deputy prime minister for economic affairs, Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar, who recently visited Logar province, urged the Chinese contractor company to start the practical work of this project as soon as possible.

Mr. Baradar called Aynak copper mine an important source of income for the country.
