Key Taliban commander killed in northern province

A key commander of the Taliban has been killed in northern Faryab Province.
Spokesman for 209 Shaheen Military Corps in north, Hanif Rezai, says the Taliban key commander, Hafizullah, was killed in Zarshoy area of Pashtun Kot district of Faryab Province on Saturday (16 November) in an air strike.
Rezai added that the Taliban commander known for his cruelty was killed along with one of his bodyguards.
In a separate report, 209 Shaheen Military Corps reported to have killed 22 Taliban armed fighters in Sayyad district of northern Sar-e Pol Province.
Taliban have so far not commented on the report.
