Kidnapped child rescued in northern Faryab

A seven-year-old child was released by security forces in northern Faryab Province, local officials said Friday.
The child was abducted two days ago on his way to school in Khan Chaharbagh district and the kidnappers demanded USD 50,000 from his family.
No arrest has been made in connection with the incident.
