Police in northern Baghlan Province has arrested a man for murdering his sister.

Provincial Police Spokesman Jawid Basharat says the man was arrested during an operation conducted by security forces and confessed to his sister’s murder.

“Although, the cause of the murder is not yet clear, but the detainee’s case will be sent to legal and judicial bodies for further investigation,” Basharat added.
