A man in western Badghis Province has killed his wife and his brother on charges of adultery, according to the province’s women affairs department.

Head of Badghis women affairs department, Rahila Naderi said the man had shot dead his wife and brother aged 25 and 30, while they were having an affair.

This is the third incident of its kind in Badghis in the current year, according to reports.

Elsewhere, Zabul police reported to have arrested a fugitive police officer who had killed his wife with an axe.
