China to host meeting on Afghanistan

China will host consultations on the situation in Afghanistan, in which representatives of Russia, China, the United States, and Pakistan will take part, quoting the special representative of the President of Russia Zamir Kabulov, RIA Novosti reported.
“Consultations will be held on October 25,” Kabulov said.
Previously acting Alice Wells, Assistant Secretary of State for South and Central Asian Affairs, spoke about the important role of Moscow and Beijing in the negotiations on Afghanistan.
According to him, Washington is negotiating with the Russian and Chinese sides in order to advance in matters of achieving peace in Afghanistan.
