Nabizada charity foundation launches campaign to fight COVID-19

Nabizada Charity foundation has launched a five-day campaign to distribute masks, gloves and antiseptic liquids to ten thousand residents of northern Balkh Province.
COVID-19 outbreak in Afghanistan has created concerns and panic among residents of Mazar-e-Sharif. Local people have been consistently asking for help to curb the virus.
Ahmad Nazhand Rahimi, in charge of the charity foundation’s aid distribution division, said they would distribute ten thousand masks, gloves and antiseptic liquids to local people within the next five days.
He added that the campaign had been started under the instruction of Kamal Nabizada, head of Nabizada Co. Ltd. Rahimi also said they would soon begin distribution of food aids to needy people in Balkh.
Meanwhile, local people have welcomed the initiative and described it as important to fight the COVID-19.
