NDS arrests ISIS commander in Kabul

The National Directorate of Security (NDS) reported it had arrested Obaidullah known as Akrama Madani, ISIS’s military commander for Afghanistan’s north and northeast during a target operation.
According to a statement by NDS, the ISIS member had received sophisticated military and intelligence trainings in North Waziristan in a center run by Haqqani Network and later he joined ISIS rank.
The detainee was behind killing of Mawlawi Ayaz Niazi and Mawlawi Azizullah Mofleh, the statement said.
The NDS statement further stated that Akrama was planning to carry out an attack on Imam Sadeq mosque in northern Kunduz Province, but the attack was foiled after his arrest.
Akrama has confessed to his crime, the statement went on saying.
