An explosion in the capital Kabul killed one person and injured two others on Thursday morning.

The explosion occurred at around 8:15 local time in the morning in Kabul’s 7th security precinct after a corolla type car hit a roadside mine, Kabul Police Spokesman Ferdows Faramarz said.

According to reports, the explosion happened on the vehicle carrying Presidential Palace’s administrative office employees, killing the driver and injuring two others including a civilian.

No group has yet claimed it was behind the attack.
