Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan is slated to visit Afghanistan this week, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Afghanistan said on Saturday.

Khan will meet senior Afghan officials and discuss peace-related issues and issues concerning strengthening of bilateral political, security and economic ties between the two countries, the ministry added.

Pakistan prime minister’s visit to Kabul takes place following a telephone conversation between him and the Afghan President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani.
