Afghan security forces on Monday arrested the Taliban plotter of a spate of suicide attacks in Kabul, the Defense Ministry said in a statement.

Baryalai, in charge of suicide attacks of the Taliban in Kabul city, was arrested last night in Bagh Alam village of Kabul’s Qara Bagh district by security forces.

The defense ministry’s statement further added that Baryalai is brother of Jamil, who is the shadow district chief of the Taliban for Qara Bagh district.

The Taliban have not commented on the report so far.
