Sixteen individuals involved in different criminal cases were arrested by Afghan National Police (ANP) in Kabul City, the interior ministry said in a statement.

The individuals were arrested from Siah Bini area of Kabul’s Bagrami district, the statement added.

The ANP also seized quantity of weapons, 85 vehicle registration plates and three vehicles from the individuals.

In a separate report, security forces arrested three kidnappers from Qara Bagh district of Kabul Province.
