Kabul witnessed a powerful explosion on Tuesday night. The explosion occurred in the restive of Kabul’s 15th security district, according to security officials.

Deputy Minister of Interior Affairs Sayyed Hamed Roshan said, that at around 09:50 last night, an explosion occurred in Kabul, leaving five civilians and soldiers wounded.

The explosion also inflicted financial damage on residential houses and shops.

The nature of the blast was not yet known and that investigations were under way, Roshan added.
