Afghan president Mohammad Ashraf Ghani on Sunday met with UN special envoy for Afghanistan, Deborah Lyons, at the presidential palace.

During the meeting, the Afghan president discussed the successful holding of the Geneva Conference and the commitments made by the Afghan government in the conference, the presidential palace said in a statement.

The two sides also discussed the peace and reforms in various UN agencies operating in Afghanistan, the statement added.

The international community in Geneva Conference promised to provide financial support to Afghanistan in the next four years.
