Provincial police chief assassinated in Kabul

The Police Chief of Western Badghis Province Sharifullah Chamtu has been assassinated on Thursday ( October 24) in Kabul.
According to the Afghan interior ministry, Mr Chamtu was on holiday in Kabul and was shot dead by unknown armed men in fifth police precinct.
An investigation has been launched to identify perpetrators of the attack, the interior ministry added.
Taliban has claimed responsibility for the terror incident.
