A roadside mine explosion in northern Jowzjan Province of Afghanistan killed and injured six individuals on Tuesday, according to the province’s local officials.

The explosion ripped through a vehicle of gas pipeline operator and maintenance workers, killing one and injuring five others in Khwaja Gogerdak area, the officials said.

No group has so far claimed responsibility for the incident.
