Rockets hit Afghan capital Kabul on Independence Day

Several rockets hit parts of Kabul City on Tuesday morning as the people of Afghanistan celebrated the 101st Independence Day.
“Roughly at 9:30 a.m. rounds of rockets were fired from two sedans from Police District 8 and Police District 17 into Kabul city. More details will be shared with the media later in the day,” Interior Ministry Spokesman Tariq Arian said
This comes as Afghanistan celebrates the 101st Independence Day. President Ashraf Ghani today morning laid a wreath at the Minar-e- Istiqlal (Independence Minaret) to mark the day.
