Russia, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan to hold military exercise near Afghan borders

Russia, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan will soon hold a military exercise near the borders of Afghanistan.
The purpose of the military exercise in southern Tajikistan was to improve the operational skills of the three countries’ military in the face of potential threats, the Russian Defense Ministry said
About 1,000 Russian troops will take part in the exercise.
