Seven children killed in mine blast in Ghazni

Local authorities in central Ghazni province said that a mine explosion in Muqor district of the province, claimed the lives of seven children.
Ghazni provincial governor spokesman, Mohmmad Aref Noori said, the blast occurred on Saturday (May 11), on a highway linking Chambaran village to Moqur district, that also left two others wounded.
The mine went off while the children were busy playing, he said.
Ghazni provincial governor further added that the opposition armed groups have become a major threat to people as they regularly place mines to target civilians.
