At least three Taliban fighters were killed and four others got injured during clashes with Afghan security forces in Andkhoi and Qaramqol districts of northern Faryab Province, the 209 Shaheen Military Corps reported on Friday.

An Afghan army soldier also sustained injury during the clashes, the 209 Shaheen statement added.

The statement further added that that Afghan security forces also demolished weapons depot of Taliban insurgents in Qaramqol district.

However, Taliban fighters reported that they have carried out a group attack on Qaramqol district building.
