Sharif Sartib appointed as new police chief of Kandahar

Sayyed Sharif Sartib has officially been appointed as the new police chief of southern Kandahar Province.
Mr. Sartib replaced Tadin Khan who served as police chief of Kandahar for more than 2 years.
Sartif has previously served in the rank of Afghan border forces and is a close associate of General Abdul Raziq.
