Six individuals were arrested in connection with targeted killings and suicide attacks in Kabul and Nangarhar provinces, the Ministry of Defense (MoD) said in a statement.

Four Taliban members who were behind many target killings and magnetic mine blasts in Kabul City were arrested by Afghan security forces in Paghman district of Kabul province last night, the statement added.

In a separate report, Nangarhar Provincial Governor Ziaulhaq Amarkhil says two suicide attackers were arrested before reaching their target in Jalalabad City.

The national directorate of security’s special unit seized two vests full of explosive from the attackers, Amarkhil added.
