Six children killed in mine explosion in Sar-e Pol

At least six children were killed as a result of a roadside mine explosion in northern Sar-e Pol Province.
The mine placed in a residential house by Taliban fighters in Sancharak district exploded on Wednesday evening, claiming the lives of six children and injuring two women, Provincial Governor Spokesman Zabih Amani said.
The incident occurred in a Taliban-controlled area, according to local officials.
