Six new covid-19 deaths reported in Afghanistan

Afghanistan on Saturday reported six new deaths due the covid-19 in the past 24 hours, the Ministry of Public Health said.
The ministry also registered 132 new cases of the coronavirus, bringing the total number of people infected with the virus to 47,388, of which 1,847 have lost their lives and 37,347 have recovered.
Meanwhile, the government is seeking global assistance to implement the coronavirus vaccine.
The World Bank and Asian Development Bank have announced the commitment of the international community to implement of the first phase of the vaccine in Afghanistan, the presidential palace reported.
The donors are also working on an aid package and financial commitments to Afghanistan, the presidential palace added.
