Six Taliban killed in Afghan forces ops in northern Balkh

At least six Taliban fighters were killed in an operation conducted by Afghan security forces in northern Balkh Province.
Spokesman for 209 Shaheen Military Corps Hanif Rezai said that four armed Taliban were killed in an aerial raid in Sholgara district, while two others lost their lives during a ground operation in Balkh district.
Afghan security forces’ operations are underway from two directions to wipe out the Taliban, Rezai added.
The 209 Shaheen Military Corps in north said two days ago that it would launch a cleanup operation dubbed “Shaheen” in northern Balkh Province.
