Taliban attack kills and injures several Afghan forces in north

At least six Taliban fighters were killed and injured in a Taliban ambush on Kunduz-Takhar highway.
Taliban fighters carried out an attack on a convoy of Afghan security forces on Takhar-Kunduz highway on Friday night killing two security forces and injuring four years, Provincial Police Spokesman Khalil Asir said.
16 Taliban fighters were also killed during the firefight, Asir added.
The Taliban has not yet commented on the report.
