Taliban delegates in Moscow for talks with Russian officials

A delegation of the Taliban led by Abbas Stanekzai, met with Russian officials in Moscow on Friday (13 September).
According to Russian media outlets, in a meeting with Russian special envoy for Afghanistan Zamir Kabulov, the Taliban have expressed their readiness to talks to the United States.
On his part, the Russian official has stressed the need to resume talks between the Taliban and Americans.
Recently, the Russian ministry of foreign affairs in a statement said that the afghan war needed political solution.
