Taliban key shadow governor killed in Afghan northern province

The most dangerous shadow governor of the Taliban, Qari Fasihuddin, has been killed in Badakhshan Province at 2:55 PM local time on Friday (6 September).
Afghan Ministry of Defense reported that the Taliban commander was killed along with his bodyguard in an aerial operation in Warduj district.
In a separate report, the ministry of interior affairs said that, Nur Ahmad Chakani, deputy intelligence chief of the Taliban was killed in western Farah province. According to the ministry, more than 110 Taliban fighters have been killed and injured during clashes with Afghan forces in the mentioned province.
On the other hand, Afghan defense and security forces reported to have killed 20 Taliban militants and injured 17 others in Khan Abad district of northern Kunduz Province.
