The Taliban has set conditions for the Istanbul Conference on Afghanistan.

Quoting a senior Taliban official, VOA, reported that the representatives of this group will participate in the Istanbul Conference if it is held for a short period of time, its agenda should not include decisions on important issues and that a low-level Taliban delegation must take part in it.

The Taliban has not officially commented on the report.

The Istanbul Conference was scheduled to be held after Eid- al Fitr holidays, but the exact date is still unclear.
