Taliban storm outpost, kill 14 Afghan army soldiers in north

At least 14 Afghan security have been killed after Taliban insurgents stormed their outpost in northern Jowzjan Province.
Taliban insurgents launched the attack on the security outpost in Fayzabad district at 03:30 am local time. Five soldiers have also been injured in the attack and two others are missing, Provincial Governor Spokesman Abdul Marouf Azar said.
Seven Taliban fighters have also been killed in the crossfire, he added.
