Unknown armed men shot at two individuals in Mazar-e-Sharif City of northern Balkh Province on Saturday evening, killing one and injuring another.

According to eyewitnesses a man was killed and his father was injured in the incident.

Provincial Governor Spokesman, Munir Ahmad Farhad, said the cause of the incident was not yet clear, but an investigation has been launched into it.
