Two killed as mortars hit market in northern Afghanistan

Two people were killed and 14 others were wounded as two mortars hit a busy market in Almar district of northern Faryab Province, local officials said Sunday.
The mortar shells were fired by the Taliban militants, provincial police spokesman, Karim Yuresh, said.
Children are also among the wounded, he added.
