Cash assistance best way to support families – Unicef

The United Nations Children’s Fund, Unicef, says that it will distribute cash assistance to tens of thousands of people in Afghanistan.
The UN body has voiced concern that millions of people are unable to meet the basic needs of their families in Afghanistan and winter will only make things worse.
“Cash assistance is one of the best ways to support them. And this winter, UNICEF aims to support 111,000 families with cash assistance,” it tweeted.
