05 Apr 2020
The US State Department said on Sunday that the international donations to Afghanistan required an inclusive government.
“It can’t be business as usual for international donors in #Afghanistan. International aid requires partnership with an inclusive government and we all must hold Afghan leaders accountable to agree on a governing arrangement,” Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary. Bureau of South and Central Asian Affairs Alice G. Wells said on her twitter account.
Meanwhile, mediation of some Afghan political leaders and lawmakers between the presidential palace and Sapidar to put an end to the current political crisis has yielded no result so far.
Although, the presidential palace had made proposals for Mr. Abdullah’s involvement in power, Sapidar still insists on invalidating the election results and stopping the appointments.
Fazl Ahmad Manavi, a close individual to Dr. Abdullah has wrotten on his twitter account that if the presidential palace does not stop appointments, Sapidar will also introduce its cabinet.
