Car bomb blast in Maidan Wardak province

A car packed with explosives went off at a security checkpoint in the central province of Maidan Wardak.
Provincial Governor Spokesman Mohibullah Sharifzoy said the explosion occured in SayedAbad district of Maidan Wardak, targetting a security checkpoint.
The casualties of the incident are yet unknown, he added.
