Afghan reconciliation council to decide on forming negotiating team

The Reconciliation Leadership Council has decided to form a negotiating delegation aimed at holding talks with the Taliban, adding that members of the team will be completed and introduced by the end of the day (10 April).
In its first meeting on 9 April, the reconciliation council agreed to introduce an all-inclusive team including government delegation to take part in future intra-Afghan dialogues in Qatar.
Earlier, spokesman for the Reconciliation Leadership Council said that four committees were tasked to prepare the redlines of participating teams in Qatar talks, the negotiating team with the Taliban as well as determine the number of the reconciliation leadership council members on Wednesday (10 April) for approval.
