On a visit to Oman, Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian met with senior officials of the country and discussed bilateral and regional issues.

During his meeting with the King of Oman Sultan Haitham, Abdollahian appraised the joint cooperation between the two countries and emphasized the importance of implementing bilateral agreements.

The two sides called for comprehensive development of relations and cooperation between the two countries in commercial, economic, energy and other sectors.

In a separate meeting, the foreign ministers of Iran and Oman discussed cooperation on regional and international issues.
