Afghan special forces have arrested a key member of the Haqqani terrorist network from Kabul.

In released statement, the Afghan Interior Ministry said that Sardar Mohammad known as Khalifa Dawood was arrested during an operation from Kabul’s ninth security precinct.

The statement added that the detained individuals was in charge of providing military equipment to the Haqqani network.
