US Special Envoy for Afghanistan Peace Zalmay Khalilzad said he would soon start his new mission in regard to Afghanistan peace process.

He made the remarks after meeting with Indian and German ambassadors as well as Uzbekistan’s Foreign Minister Abdul Aziz Kamilov.

Khalilzad said in a tweet that he is “getting ready to launch another mission in the hope of making the further process.”

Khalilzad recently described Doha meeting held between a 60-member delegation from Afghanistan and Taliban representatives in Qatar as “constructive”.
