According to RT, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and his Turkish counterpart Mevlut Cavusoglu sat down for bilateral talks in Bangkok on Tuesday, at the 52nd ASEAN (Association of Southeast Asian Nations) Foreign Ministers Meeting.

The two diplomats are expected to discuss bilateral relations as well as pressing international and regional issues.

On the other hand, Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu said he and his Russian counterpart Sergei Lavrov discussed Syria and the delivery of the S-400 missile defense system to Turkey on the sidelines of the 52nd ASEAN Foreign Ministers’ Meeting in Bangkok on Tuesday.
