Local journalist dies of chronic disease in Afghan north

Morsal Hakim Qazizadah, a local journalist in northern Balkh Province, who suffered from chronic illness for two years, died at the age of 25, on Tuesday evening (2 April).
Morsal’s family say, she was under treatment for two years and even was transferred abroad for further treatment, but this chronic illness (vertebral tumors) did not let Morsal continue her life.
Morsal worked for Radio “Kalid” in Afghan northern city of Mazar -e-Sharif for four years and presented social, educational and literary programs.
